Twitter button effortlessly assists online news spreading

Twitter developers have said the official Tweet button will make it exponentially easier to push and publicise a topic and boost online marketing.

The button – which can be added to any site with just a few lines of simple code – will allow users to avoid having to copy and paste, shorten links or switch between browser tabs.

Organisations that have already made the button a default addition to their sites include CNN, Hulu, the Onion, USA Today and YouTube.
